Churchill Town & Tundra Enthusiast
Have the best of both worlds: experience the northern frontier town of Churchill and the wonderful wildlife surrounding it! This hotel-based adventure offers the excitement of polar bear viewing from a Tundra Buggy®, and the opportunity to take in the eclectic charm of this remote northern town. The tour includes two full-day Tundra Buggy safaris in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area (CWMA), where polar bears await the freezing of the Hudson Bay.

Itinerary
Winnipeg
Arrive in Winnipeg and check in at your hotel. In the evening, you will meet your guide for a brief orientation.
Churchill
This morning you depart from Winnipeg on an early flight to the remote town of Churchill. After arriving in Churchill and being transferred to your hotel, you will enjoy a Churchill and area tour, a visit to the Parks Canada Visitor Centre and PBI House.
On day 3, you board an official Tundra Buggy® - a specially constructed vehicle that travels across the tundra to explore polar bear habitat. Enjoy a full-day Tundra Buggy® Adventure in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area – home of polar bears, arctic foxes, ptarmigan and other unique arctic wildlife. Wear comfortable, layered clothing. Each Tundra Buggy is heated and equipped with washroom facilities and an external viewing platform. Return back to town around 17:00, followed by an evening cultural presentation by a local resident.
On day 4 begin with a dog sledding excursion with a local musher. for a 1.5 km dog sled ride followed by a visit to the Itsanitaq Museum and PBI House.
Winnipeg
The final day in Churchill enjoying the thrill of the Tundra Buggy®. Late afternoon you will be transferred to the Churchill airport for your return flight to Winnipeg. Spend a final night in Winnipeg before leaving tomorrow.
