NEW YORK

Arrive in New York City where you will be met and transferred to your hotel where you will meet your tour director.

NEW YORK

Today you can experience all that the Big Apple has to offer with a guided tour by your tour director, which includes some of the most famous sights of Manhattan. Catch glimpses of the famous skyline and see for yourself why New York is truly one of the greatest cities in the world. After that we suggest a scenic helicopter ride, a tour of the viewing platform of the Empire State Building (optional) or take in a Bay Cruise to see the Statue of Liberty (optional). The evening is at leisure - why not take in a Broadway show?(optional)

NEW YORK CITY - PHILADELPHIA - WASHINGTON

This morning we start our journey south through New Jersey to Philadelphia, the birthplace of America, where the Declaration of Independence was adopted on the 4th July 1776. Here your tour director will make sure you relive history visiting Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell on a comprehensive city tour. We suggest you try a famed Philly Cheesesteak before continuing the day's journey onward to Washington, D.C. the Nation's Capital. This evening we recommend a night tour of the city followed by dinner in Georgetown(optional).

WASHINGTON

Enjoy an in-depth city tour experiencing such highlights as the U.S. Capitol Building, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, the F.B.I Building, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, the White House and Arlington National Cemetery, site of the JFK Memorial. Evening at leisure and we suggest you enjoy another thriving neighborhood of D.C., such as Dupont Circle, U Street or the Wharf. All very accessible using D.C'S Metro system. You may also choose to spend your afternoon outside the city and relive a bit of colonial history at George Washington's MT. Vernon Estate in Virginia (optional).

WASHINGTON DC - GETTYSBURG - AMISH COUNTRY -YORK

Today we head north to the state of Pennsylvania to visit historic Gettysburg Civil War Nattional Battleground, where President Lincoln gave his famous address in 1863. Then we travel onward through rural countryside to pennsylvania Dutch Country. Visit an Amish Museum and see their 300-year-old tradition of simple living (admission included).

YORK - FINGER LAKES/CORNING - NIAGARA FALLS

This morning we travel across Pennsylvania into New York state's scenic Finger Lakes region. Stop in Corning, America's Crystal City for a short visit to the Corning Museum of Glass. Indulge in a spot of wine-tasting at Watkins Glen on the shores of Lake Seneca, named after the Seneca Indian Nation. Then we head towards the Canadian border to one of the world's most breathtaking natural wonders, Niagara Falls where we spend the evening.

NIAGARA FALLS - NIAGARA ON THE LAKE - TORONTO

This morning you will have time to explore the Falls. Perhaps take a ride aboard Hornblower Cruise along the base of the falls (optional), stroll along Table Rock to view the thundering waters at Horseshoe Falls or visit The Journey Behind The Falls (optional). Next we visit Niagara on the Lake where you can enjoy the wine that this hamlet is well-known for. In the early evening we set off for Toronto, Canada's largest city, cultural centre and the capital of Ontario.

TORONTO

Enjoy a comprehensive Insider tour of Toronto's well-known sights as well as the lesser-known neighbourhoods. You may wish to experience exhilarating views from the CN Tower, one of the world's tallest free standing structures (optional). Your tour director will recommend how to spend your evening sampling Toronto's thriving entertainment and dining scene.

TORONTO - THOUSAND ISLANDS - OTTAWA

Depart Toronto to continue your journey along the 1000 Islands Parkway on your way to the capital of Canada, Ottawa. Re recommend joining a scenic river cruise with views of the islands (optional). Enjoy an afternoon tour of Ottawa, a vibrant city with many parks and beautiful flowers as well as one of the most impressive parliament buildings in the world. Enjoy an evening at leisure.

OTTAWA - MONTREAL

This morning we have a relatively short journey into the French speaking region of Canada, Quebec, where we discover Montreal, the region's cultural capital. Enjoy a leisurely tour of Old Montreal, the Vieux Port, with stops at Place Jacques Cartier and Notre Dame Basilica. In the evening there is an optional night tour of the city with dinner featuring regional cuisine.

MONTREAL - BOSTON

Today we travel back to the USA, traversing the Green Mountain State of Vermont and the Granite State of New Hampshire. Arrive in Boston midday for a walking tour along the Freedom Trail from Boston Common and passing the State House, King's Chapel, the old South Meeting House, the site of the Boston Massacre and the pubs and taverns where America's Founding Fathers toasted freedom. Walk the cobbled streets of Beacon Hill and learn about Boston's role in American history aboard the USS Constitution Museum (optional). Your tour director can recommend the best places to sample traditional clam chowder and lobster this evening (optional)

BOSTON - NEWPORT - NEW YORK CITY

Depart Boston toward another original colony, Rhode Island which is home to Newport, a famed playground for the ultra-waelthy during the Gilded Age. Discover the opulence of a bygone era during a mansion tour before returning to New York City. With a free afternoon to continue your exploration of Manhattan you may choose to visit the 9/11 memorial and museum (optional), do some shopping or take a relaxing stroll in Central Park.

NEW YORK & HOME

Your tour ends this morning. Bid farewell to the new friends you have made and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
